Off to an early start - lots of car napping to come! On of us had to ride in the back with her the whole way so we could feed her as we went. Don't report us, but we occasionally pulled her out to burp her as well....
A quick stop for lunch on our way to Denver!

We finally made it to my parents' house on Saturday evening. We spent Sunday with them and Eve got to wear her Easter dress a week early - hey, we were in two different states for the two Sundays on our trip and I had to conserve car space by only packing one dress! Ok, fine, really it's just a cute dress and I wanted her to wear it as much as possible :)

Eve was so happy to be at Grandma's! My dad wasn't there (we met up with him in Utah) so my mom got all the snuggle time!

On Sunday evening, our friends Candace and Jeremy came over to visit. Here's a picture of the diaper cake my mom and I made for her - they're having a daughter this summer!
When we got to Utah on Monday night, Eve finally got to meet her Grandpa Larsen for the first time! I think they both enjoyed the meeting...

And of course Aunt Kelly and Uncle Lance were happy to see Eve again! Kelly is officially the reason we undertook this trip in the first place. She was graduating from BYU that week and having a baby shower for the daughter they're expecting in June (see the next post for more on that).

We stayed with Andrew's family in Provo for a week. Andrew's sister Laura was kind enough to give us her bed (not sure if she had a choice in the matter... :)) and Eve had a pack and play in the same room. She also spent some time in bed with us when she was fussy (which she was every night). You can't tell because of the flash, but I took this picture in the middle of the night. So sleepy!

And of course since we were in Provo we had to eat at Cafe Rio....twice....

And Eve got to meet her cousin Chiara for the first time! She kept wanting to grab her and I'm not sure that Chiara appreciated it.

Eve with Aunt Lisa! They were so good about feeding her, getting her to sleep, playing with her - all the time! It was great! Eve had fun with her other Uncle Lance too (Andrew's brother), but we didn't get any pictures - we only got to see him for a couple of days because he left while we were there to go to a soccer tournament in Puerto Rico. Too bad we don't live closer and can't see everyone more often!
After a fun and jammed packed week in Utah (including the graduation, baby shower, and Easter - which will get their own posts), we headed back to Colorado for a couple of days before returning to Texas. We got to see Candace and Jeremy again, along with their son, Nathan - pictured here with Eve. Nathan was so cute with "baby Eve"! He's going to be a great big brother!

Eve with her Aunt Laura! Andrew's sisters were so good with her and Eve definitely appreciated the attention. And I appreciated the break.....
