21 Months

Here are some of my favorite pictures of Eve at 21 months (thanks again, Candace!):

Eve is growing up to be the sweetest, smartest, most independent little girl!

Here are some fun things about Eve at 21 months:

-She know all the words (to all verses) of many Primary songs.  Some of her favorites are the Daddy song (My daddy is my favorite pal....), the Mommy song (When we're helping, we're happy...), the Grandma song, the Grandpa song, I am a Child of God, I'm Trying to be Like Jesus, I Love to See the Temple, Jesus Said Love Everyone, Choose the Right, and the Wise Man.  And that's just a start!  She knows so many others too and it's so cute when she walks around the house singing them to herself.

-Is learning her lower case letters

-Can count by herself to 12 and can read numbers

-Knows all the 'normal' colors (pink seems to be a favorite at this point)

-Is great at helping unload the dishwasher

-Constantly uses the phrase, "Eve do it" when she doesn't want help.

-Is still very shy around strangers (at first) but loves her nursery teachers, the bishop, and the missionaries.  And her babysitters.

-Calls one of four people on her play phone all the time: Reagan, Aunt Kelly, or one of her grandmas.

-Has several books memorized including The Foot Book, Goodnight Moon, Five Little Ladybugs, and the Hungry Caterpillar.  She loves reading!

-Has a soft spot for "babies" - which really could mean anyone under the age of 3.  And often older than her!

-Comes running to greet me when I get home from work and always wants to carry my lunch bag.

Ok, I could go on forever, but I won't....we sure do love this sweet little girl and feel so blessed to have her in our family!
