So apparently Texas has a Chicken Fried Steak Day and it was this past Friday, Oct 26th!
How did we celebrate, you might ask? By going to Jack in the Box...our reasons were three-fold:
1. It's cheaper than actually paying for a chicken fried steak dinner (especially with the coupons we had - plus we were too tired for sit-down).
2. It's right by our house and we'd never been there.
3. There was absolutely no way I'd be trying my hand at homemade chicken fried steak (or really any cooking at this point).
So there you go. We celebrated in our hearts! And the sourdough cheesesteak sandwich we tried will just have to be counted - hey, it has the word 'steak' in it!
