Here's to our Dad!

When you have a Dad as awesome as ours, one day just isn't enough to get all the celebrations in!

So we started early, on Friday night.  Don't judge.  We went to McDonald's.  We thought Eve would enjoy the play place and Andrew the chicken nuggets.

We were partially right.

Things started out ok (notice the big smile from Eve above at the bottom of the small slide).  But the overhead tunnels without Dad or Mom to assist proved to be too overwhelming for Eve.  Things quickly disintegrated into Eve stuck up in one of the tunnels, screaming and crying for us.  It was so sad!  Good thing there weren't very many other people there.

We talked Eve over to a place that Andrew could to her and finally got her out.

Halle happily watched the whole affair from her chair while eating my purse.

Don't worry, nothing a little ice cream sundae couldn't fix :)

Saturday was a very busy day with Andrew helping with a ward move and working on the fence and yard some more and the girls and I running errands and doing chores and laundry.

Sunday dawned very early (thank you, Halle), but Eve was happy to help me make some breakfast for Dad!

Eve also helped me hide about a dozen candy bars around the house for Dad to find as he got ready for church (ex: in his sock drawer, by his toothpaste, inside his shoes, etc.).  However, Eve was SO excited about it, she couldn't keep it a secret and I had to keep distracting her so she wouldn't spoil the surprise!

After church, we had a yummy pork chops dinner with chocolate cake for dessert.

These girls are definitely happy to have such a great dad!

We love you, Andrew!  Thanks for everything you do for us!
