After spending a couple of days in Provo, we headed into the mountains for the Larsen Family Reunion! It. Was. Awesome! So cool to see everyone!
The reunion was Wednesday - Saturday and I don't know that I got any pictures of our first evening there. It was pretty much everyone getting in, eating, visiting, and getting in bed, from what I remember.
After breakfast the next morning, it was time for a nature treasure hunt put on by Grandma Larsen. She had little rubbery bugs/insects hid all around and in addition to finding one of those, the kids also had to find other treasures in nature (pine cone, leaf, sticks, etc.).
Eve searched diligently for her 10 items:
The other cousins searched too! Jarret took a long enough break to look cute for the camera...
...then went back to work with mom's help!
When enough items had been gathered it was time to report in to Grandma, show her your goodies, and get a treat!
The kids made sure to really relish their rewards! Fruit snacks!
Navy was a treat all by herself!
Cause sometimes you just need snuggles from Grandma!
The lodge we were staying up (up past Strawberry Reservoir) had a tire swing that got PLENTY of use!
And not just by the little kids - Eric and Kelly couldn't resist the fun!
Then Eric finally decided he couldn't take all the craziness and escaped for some alone time.
Meanwhile, the cousin-play continued, unabated :)
Train sliding!
Seriously, I think most of our time was spent just watching these kids play together!
The pinnacles for which the lodge is named:
Grandpa Larsen hosted some bow and arrow shooting and tomahawk throwing. Andrew was a little too good at the tomahawk....
Besides all these fun activities, we had some delicious food at the reunion! Unfortunately for Halle, she was restricted to baby food....
Can you tell that I can't get enough of these cousins spending time together?!?
And gotta love it when Aunt Kelly is game for holding two babies! One rather large one who just wanted to see her little baby cousin Daryn!
I took so many pictures at the reunion, that I need to split it into two posts to make them even slightly manageable in length.....so more Larsen Family Reunion pictures up next!
