I haven't posted blogs in a bit because I didn't think I had many things to post about, but looking back through pictures of the past couple of months, I realize I was wrong! Here's a sampling of some of our various activities:
We found Abigail in the fireplace one morning.....at least it's clean!
Bath time is getting a little crowded, but the girls begged me for a bubble bath so how could I refuse?
Eve showing off her play dough snowman:
Chillin' with their entourage:
Who doesn't love running their fingers through wheat? And making yummy bread after!
I love it when Abigail finds way to entertain herself :)
While she has been fully potty trained for months, Halle it still learning how to properly put on her underwear.....
....and her shorts.....leg and waist holes can get confusing!
Abigail has become so good at folding her arms for prayers and is a good example for her big sisters!
Eve loves to practice homework while I'm working and she's great at it :)
One night when we checked on the girls we found Eve asleep like this. The pictures doesn't do it justice, but it was hilarious!
These girls LOVE to play outside so we're very glad the weather is finally starting to cool off.
Random silly faces!
We joined a babysitting group in our ward so we get three Fridays a month for date night and one when we babysit for the group - 10 kids in one little house is overwhelming! Especially on nights like last night when Andrew was sick and I had to do it all by myself :(.
One day we decided to do my hot curlers in the girls hair.
Eve was excited and cooperated beautifully!
Halle pitched a fit.
But the results were so cute I almost didn't mind the fit.
The curls didn't last long on either girl in this form, but we had a fun time!
Every Wednesday we go to story hour at the library and one week we made cat masks! There is always a craft after the singing and stories and Eve always enjoys faithfully making them, as much by herself (including gluing and cutting) as possible. Halle doesn't like go with the crowd. She will color her craft, but that's about it and freaks out if I try to help her turn it into a puppet, mask, hat, or whatever it's meant to be. So I've learned to just go with it, for both girls, even though it is VERY hard for me to let Eve do her own craft without my help (it isn't as....meticulous....as I would like) and Halle to not even come close to making the craft according to instructions. We're all learning....
One Saturday we had multiple overlapping activities so Halle got to go with Andrew to a trash cleanup for school - she was the youngest helper there!
Eve and Abigail were with me since Eve had a primary activity at the temple.
As we were getting ready - lest you think it's all fun and games around here:
Eve at her temple activity!
Halle had finished her project with Dad and came with me to pick Eve up later - such happy sisters!
And speaking of happy....
Sometimes we make fun pancakes for breakfast - snakes, rainbows, colorful circles, whatever we feel like.
The girls' favorite park is Legacy Play Village and they had been begging to take Daddy to see it. Eve was worried he wouldn't be able to go until she was 7 1/2 and he was done with school, but we managed to squeeze it in one Saturday morning :)
I told you this would be random - our girls love corn on the cob!
One afternoon it felt particularly quiet so I tiptoed into the girls' room to find Abigail reading in the closet - I could get used to this!
Eve got to attend her very first birthday party for a friend - all by herself! So grown up!
We watched General Conference in style!
And one more funny picture of Eve sleeping. She begs and begs and begs me to let her nap in the pack n play and when I finally let her, she did promptly fall right asleep. Fine by me!
I love this blog. So much. So so much.
