We decided it'd be fun to have gardens this year, so we went to Wal-mart and got what we needed! Eve chose to grow peas!
Planting very carefully -
Make sure they get lots of water! Eve says she is her garden's 'mommy' and is very good about taking care of it.
Halle opted for carrots:
We basically ended up dumping the whole pack of seeds in the pot.
Lots and lots of water!
It took just over a week for Eve's seeds to sprout, but she was one happy girl when they did!
Halle's came up after two weeks and what a fun surprise that was when we got back from our second trip to San Antonio (blog post coming on that)!
And Eve's peas are getting big!
The girls are doing so well at remembering to water their little gardens every day and we look forward to a bounteous harvest!
Eve is the mommy this time not the leader :-) hehe
