Christmas in Utah: Actual Christmas

We woke up Christmas morning to several inches of snow on the ground and the girls were delighted!  Not surprisingly, Eve was the first awake, although even she didn't get up that early.

She was super excited to check her stocking, though!

Grandma Smith's beautiful tree, before the madness ensued.

Halle was next up!

Then Abigail!

Cora's first stocking!

Seriously.  All night.

Threats, begging, pleading, and yelling and this is the best Christmas morning picture I could get.

Eve was super excited about the cherry flavored gum hiding in the pocket of her robe from mom and dad.  Abigail and Halle had tic tacs in theirs and Abigail polished hers before the morning was over.  Apparently she's a fan?

"How am I supposed to do this, Mom?"

Later in the morning, Aunt Laura and Uncle Danny came over so the fun really got started!

Christmas selfies!  We had to hurry to get everyone bathed and ready for church!

Everyone came to church together (except Eric and Kayla) and we took up the whole row.

I yelled a bit louder for our Christmas dress pictures and things turned out slightly better ;)

For a little while, at least....

By our afternoon round of opening presents, Cora had gotten the hang of it!

First, you enjoy the outside....

.....then the inside!

What would Christmas/Sunday be without video games with Dad?  :(

And some crazy fun, too!

All in all, it was a pretty quiet day, but fun to spend it with family!  We love Christmas and we love our Savior!  Happy birthday to Him!
