Even with an 11 day old baby, we made it to the fair this year!
First, we went and saw all the animals while we waited for the rides to open.
Petting a rabbit:
The petting zoo went better this year - no animal attacks on Cora!
Seth and I watched from the sidelines.
Our annual "chicks" picture is getting less and less posed (and was crashed by a boy this year, even if you can't see his face.)
Tractor time! It was HOT! Black leather + shorts = lots of complaining from the girls.
And arguing over the seats in the shade....
Seth was content to wait in his shaded stroller ;)
We finally found an indoor seating area to wait out the last painful 30 minutes until the rides opened. Lots of crankies!
We all cheered up when it was ride time!
Cora especially loved the merry-go-round!
Eve and Halle did the big slide together this year! Each girl got to pick 4 rides.
Dumbo for everyone!
Abigail insisted on sitting alone and did great!
Eve was kind enough to ride with Cora.
Next, Abigail and Cora picked this car drive ride (their choices were limited, due to height restrictions). They each sat alone and it turns out the cars whip around the turns, which totally freaked Cora out. They had to stop the ride and let her off.
Abigail, on the other hand, loved it!
We tried a more sedate ride for Cora instead...
Meanwhile, Andrew took Eve and Halle on a bigger kid ride. Time to fly!
And finally, we finished off the afternoon with monster cotton candy!
It made a huge mess in the car, but they all had fun....
Another great year at the fair in the books!
