Valentine's Day

This February, I bought little mailboxes at Walmart and we sent notes to each other all month.  I found this treat in my box from Eve. :)  (It had been in her stocking at Christmas and apparently she didn't like it.)  My favorite part was that she highlighted it being sugar free.

Chocolate muffins from Sam's for breakfast!

Seth got a mailbox too!

"Mommy, this is delicious!"

"I could eat this all day!"

"And I will!"

Seth's Valentine's Day gift to me. So generous!

In keeping with tradition, we signed up to feed the missionaries that evening.  It always seems like such a good idea since it's a night I already know I'll be making dinner.  And this year wasn't too bad.  We have a set of elders and sisters in our ward (sisters serve in the Spanish Branch) so it was almost like hosting a double date for them!

Abigail helped me pre-make lasagna earlier in the day.

That afternoon we went to Sleepy Hollow for Eve and Halle's class parties - it was a lot of hopping back and forth between their rooms.

Halle's party first!  She's in the blue jacket.  Their class made ice cream sundaes!

Lots of treats in Eve's room too!

Halle's sundae looks delicious!

Time for games!  Ring the unicorn:

And valentine exchanges!  Lots and lots of candy....

Bean bag toss - Eve got one of the top scores, so got to pick an extra prize.

Halle's valentines!

Halle got to show us her locker :)

Eve picked cotton candy for her game winning prize!

Dinner with the missionaries was yummy but I didn't take any pictures.  That evening before bed, the girls all got a little surprise on their beds - chocolate roses and a coloring book!

Seth was jealous and felt a little left out.

Nothing big sister hugs can't fix!

The next day, I took the girls to Walmart because they've been begging to spend their money so I said they could look through the Valentine's clearance section. Only Abigail ended up buying something Valentine's related, but they all had fun!

A couple of days late, but we made and decorated sugar cookies!

Poor Abigail was feeling sick and slept through the fun :(

Those look good enough to eat!
