Boyd at One Month

Sunday, September 13th was Boyd's one month celebration of being in this world. He was pretty excited. 

And/or sleepy. 

Ok, even if he wasn't excited about the milestone, the rest of us were! 

Eve and Abigail helped me take dozens of pictures of Boyd and some of them turned out great! Look at that happy face!

Here are some things about Boyd at one month:

-11 lbs (86%), 22.5" (87%), 98% head

-wears size 1 diapers and newborn/0-3 month clothes

-pees on you EVERY time you change his diaper

-eating 3 oz bottles every three hours, including at night

-has a super bad diaper rash that bleeds :(

-mostly sleeps in his bouncy seat in Mom and Dad's room (often on the bed next to Mom) 

-likes sucking a pacifier but can't keep it in very well on his own

Daddy let him try the bumbo for the first time. I don't think he's quite ready....

"What is happening???"

"Wait, I just hold my head up like this?"

"Ok, I think I've got the hang of this."

"This is the life....."

Look how dark and thick (for our babies) his hair was in back! That didn't last. 

Every time I try to take pictures of Boyd, I have at least two girls in the background, just waiting to jump in!

Boyd is already learning he has to make lots of noise to be heard in this family!
