"Wait, it's already here??? I'm not ready!"
Eve was ready for her annual picture!
I had most of the wrapping done and waiting in my closet.
And with somewhat minimal fussing, we got the stockings hung and our Christmas jammies on!
This year the kids did a gift exchange and we opened them on Christmas Eve. They each picked one thing from the store, then we passed them around as we read a story (left, right) and they got to keep what they ended up with! Fun, but I think next year we'll draw names so with gender and age mixes, the gifts are a bit more targeted.
We left cookies out for Santa and carrots for the reindeer!
Boyd supervised to make sure we did it correctly.
The girls asked Santa for a self portrait and he nicely complied!
When I snuck out later that night to check, everything was in place!
