8 Months

It's hard to believe, but Eve turned 8 months old this week!  She is such a big girl!  And such a joy to have around!

Here are some stats:

-Weight & height ????  I didn't measure....
-Can hold her own bottle but prefers that we feed her
-Is crawling EVERYWHERE and getting into everything!
-Pulls herself up on couches, cabinets, book cases, legs...you get the point!
-Eats books like a champ!
-Wears 6 - 9 month clothes
-Give the best kisses ever!
-Loves to play with other kids

Ok, that's all I can think of, although I'm sure I'm forgetting something.  Oh, she's sleeping pretty well these days and is on a great schedule!  She goes to bed around 7:30 and gets up around 6:30....we're trying to push that back an hour ;).

Her hair is growing, but only on the back half of her head.  Where are you, front hair!?!?!

In fact, she looks so much like a boy at times that when she found herself in the mirror the other day, she was completely smitten!  Who is this new, cute guy?  She had to investigate....

See for yourself - we progressed from casual conversation....

....to kissing!  And on the first meeting!  She's going to be trouble as a teenager.  Not to be too graphic, but there was some tongue involved....she gives very wet kisses....

Anyway, she and the mirror boy have an "on again, off again" relationship now.

Here are the only pictures I got on her actual 8 month birthday - she was so excited about the camera, I couldn't keep her from climbing up on me and barely got a couple of pictures that weren't blurry from her busy movement!

We're having an absolute blast with Eve and love every minute we get to spend with her!

  2. That is impressive! Lance said I could learn a thing or two from her about kissing.... ok he didn't actually say that. But it would have been funny if he did.

  3. Also, the only reason she is eating the books is because you haven't taught her to read yet. Better get on that.
