Tomorrow Eve turns 1! Making today....birthday eve!
I know that the post about her birthday will be filled with pictures of presents and cake, so I'll use this opportunity to give some quick updates of Eve's recent accomplishments.
First, Eve folds her arms for prayers now! She doesn't make it through the whole prayer, but she knows what it means when we say, "Time for prayers!"
And a second super-cute development: Eve will raise her hand on command. So adorable!
Eve is such a joy to have in our family and we can't wait to celebrate her birthday with her tomorrow! She got a practice run at opening presents last week. Aunt Kelly, Uncle Lance, and Reagan sent a box with two presents and acting on Aunt Kelly's instructions, Eve was allowed to open one early - a Christmas dress that she wore to Church on Sunday!
She had a great time with the box and the bubble wrap! It didn't take her long, though, to figure out that there was something for her under all that paper!
Stay tuned for pictures from our fun birthday festivities. Happy birthday eve!
