Christmas Fun at the Science Spectrum and Nativity

We saw Santa at the Science Spectrum again this year!  Cora wouldn't sit on his lap, but she did get in the picture :)

Seth's first Santa photo!  I love it when they're too young to care who holds them.

After seeing Santa, we did a few Christmas crafts.  Halle and Cora decided to write letters to Santa.

Eve made a Christmas tree:

And Abigail and Eve made Santa beards:

Ho, ho, ho!

Mailing their letters to Santa!

Seth was amazed by all the festivities!

Shaping snowflakes!

The girls attempted igloos out of mini marshmallows, but it didn't go well or last long.

We moved on to cookie decorating and hot chocolate!

We even had time to play in the Clifford area for a few minutes.  Halle and Eve both love delivering the mail around Birdwell Island.

Clifford even made an appearance on our way out!  Abigail wouldn't get close and Cora wouldn't take her eyes off him.

That was Saturday the 1st.  On Sunday the 2nd we had only Sacrament Meeting because the Nativity was going on!  We took the girls that afternoon but I only took a couple of pictures.

Halle, Eve, and Cora wanted to dress up as Mary:

It's hard to keep 4 active girls from touching anything, so we spent a good chunk of our time in the touch and feel room, then making an ornament.  We didn't have too much time because I had volunteered to help host in the international room and it was time for my shift!

Andrew and the kids came back to pick me up when my time was done and we went to the Mill's house for dinner.  Andrew grew up with their daughter in Provo and her dad was the bishop of our singles' ward when we got married.  When we arrived at their house, we were surprised and delighted to see that our former bishop and his wife were in town visiting!  We had a delicious dinner, a great time catching up, and the 11 kids made way to much noise running around and playing.  Unfortunately, I neglected to take any pictures.  But it was a great evening!
