We had high hopes for October!
And with kids this cute, how can it not be good??
And then Seth's forehead met the TV table. Could have been MUCH worse.
Boyd going for a ride!
During "school" Abigail took a lot of breaks to play with Boyd. And took TONS of pictures.
Seth's favorite hat at this point was the plastic sink bowl from the toy kitchen.
When you're tired enough, you can sleep anywhere!
Eve's school project about the Central Plains of Texas turned out pretty well! We barely had enough room on the board!
Eve and Halle got to come with me to JBF and pick out one toy for everyone.
Boyd slept lots. (Just not as much at night as I would have liked.)
And Eve taught him to ride a bike!
We enjoyed lots of time outside with nice weather!
And even went to the zoo once!
Seth's buddy Max got to come play while his mom was at the doctor. These two have a love/hate relationship. Sharing is not easy when you're two.
Oncology check-up for Abigail!
And Cora always gets excited when I bring new peanut butter home from the store! Especially when it's a new brand (Reese's in the orange) and suddenly Zandar (blue Skippy jar) has two new BFFs - Peany and Peanut! She kept them on the dresser in her room until it was time to open them. (And when we get the large jars from Sam's Club things really get fun!)
We had a Relief Society activity at the food bank helping to sort and box snack items. We saw two mice!
Abigail got to write her own book as a school project and chose being Fire chief for a day. My favorite page:
Cora let me put a pony tail in her hair and wanted a pink scrunchie to match her shirt! She almost exclusively wears her hair down and has yet to have an actual haircut.
She's named this wooden pull toy we got from the hospital "Klosowsky" all on her own and still calls him that now. It's pretty adorable.
We wrote birthday cards for Grandpa and Grandma Larsen and Abigail always comes up with the best messages. I don't prompt the kids on these - just give them the paper and they bring it to me when they're done. And I laugh.
Playing outside is so fun! Just like a big kid!
But it IS exhausting...
This kid is never wanting for snuggs!
And sometimes during the pandemic, I would do big restocking grocery trips. We've never had more food in the house, which isn't a bad thing! But checkout takes a while.
I did little fall drop offs for the Relief Society sisters - I bought about 70 little pumpkins!
So yeah, October may not have reset everything, but it will still pretty great.
