In March, Andrew attended an admitted students weekend in Lubbock, TX, where he was admitted to law school. I took a day off work, and we made it a girls weekend in his absence!
First thing on the morning he left, I gave the girls baths. While I was getting Eve out and ready, Halle, who had gotten out a few minutes earlier, came walking back into the room. She'd found some markers and colored all over herself! Luckily, they were washable and came off with a little scrubbing.....
We had lots of jump time on the new tramp!
We went for a walk outside because the weather was so beautiful!
That night, the girls got to have a sleepover in my room, next to my bed - fun times! And we all even slept semi-well :)
The next morning, we had some french toast and blueberries for breakfast before getting started on a busy day!
Our largest activity of the day was an Easter egg activity and hunt with some friends from church. We had a blast!
Abigail was cranky....
We got covered in confetti from people cracking hollowed out egg shells over our heads (that had been stuffed with all kinds of fun, colorful surprises!).
We spent the rest of the day cleaning the house, running our errands, doing the laundry, etc.
We were so glad when Dad got home that evening! We sure missed him!
He enjoyed his weekend in Lubbock and had a good experience as he got somewhat acquainted with that school and city!
