Abigail Turns 2

Has it really been 2 years?!?!

We celebrated Abigail's birthday as a family, beginning with donuts in the morning:

Then we were off to the park to enjoy the lovely weather.  Abigail wasn't as interested in the park as she was the ducks.

We finally convinced her to give the playground a try too ;)

After a fun morning at the park, we went to the library for story hour - it was so fun to have Dad with us!

After naps and a doctor's visit for me, we took the girls to the only McDonald's in Lubbock with a play place.  Sounds lame, but the girls loved it!

Nothing like nuggets, fries, and chocolate milk for dinner (anything I don't have to cook!):

Haha, give it a few more years, Abigail......

After dinner it was time for presents and cake!  Thanks to those who sent such fun gifts - Abigail loved them all!

Her present from Dad and Mom was a new car - which all the girls love and fight over now ;)

Cake!  She blew out the candles so well!

And had more fun playing with the cake than eating it......

So, so excited to be a big 2 year old!

Here are some things about our Abigail at age 2:

-Weighs 28 lbs (70% percentile)
-35.6 in tall (90% percentile)
-Favorite foods: any fruits and vegetables, apple juice, french fries, and cold cereal
-Constantly drinking, probably 60 oz a day (20 milk, 10 apple juice, and 30 water)
-Most used phrases: "I found it", "I see you", "I lut you", "No thank you welcome", "Abigail turn!", "Juice, please, Mommy!"
-Loves to FaceTime and talk on the phone and freaks out if I (or anyone else) take a turn talking
-Still has some issues with nursery, at least initially, so Andrew spends a lot of time in there with her
-Wants to do anything her big sisters are doing
-Counts to 20 by herself
-Loves to play "I spy with my little eye"
-Recently transitioned to the bottom bunk in her sisters' room and has only fallen out once so far
-Crazy about babies and almost always has a doll tucked under her arm
-Her favorite books are "Go, Dog. Go!" which she takes to bed with her every night and the Elephant and Piggie book "Should I Share my Ice Cream?"
-Definitely more......energetic......?????......than her sisters were at this age - she constantly keeps us on our toes!
-Loves to sing and it's so fun for us to try to figure out what song she's singing; her favorites include "Once there was a Snowman", "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam", "We'll Bring the World His Truth" (she sings the chorus with full force as "army of hemina" and it's pretty cute), "I am a Child of God", "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", and "ABC's"

Such a cute sweetie and we love her so much!
