We had the craziest rain storm on Wednesday, complete with flash flooding. And the girls and I got the pleasure of driving home in it from playgroup at the Science Spectrum museum. Couldn't see anything, cars pulled over and stranded in the rising water, etc. Getting home was quite an adventure but we said a pray that we'd make it and we did! (Eve later came and told me she'd said another prayer thanking Heavenly Father once we got home - that girl is too amazing!).
Anyway, we were all pretty drenched by the time I got the girls inside - you can see why!

Once the rain stopped and it cleared up a bit, the girls begged and begged me to let them play in the "lake" out back. Abigail was in bed, but Eve and Halle sure had a blast!
It was quite chilly, but they played for probably 30 mins before I made them come inside to warm up.
And Halle managed to have fun without getting her cast wet! She's a pro at that cast by now ;)
And Andrew was at school and missed the whole thing :( So thankful we were all safe AND had a blast! We love rain!
