Post-Spring Break March

Lots of things to finish out the month of March!

The easiest way to get things back that fall behind the washer/dryer is with Eve's help!

Seth trying out some snacks! Now that he's 6 months old, he can eat some yummies!

Don't be fooled, he's a fan!

Some play groups at the church gym - playing on the stage is always the best :)

And finally we have a place to use the toy car we were given a year and a half ago!  The gym is perfect and the car was a big hit with all the kids!

Abigail even helped me drive it back out to our car afterwards.

Helping feed her brother! Mommy only has two hands after all....

Heard a crash one afternoon....goodbye shower tower! That's ok, there's more room without it.

Halle's adorable new dress - one of my few good finds at this season's JBF sale.

Lots of rain and hail storms make for a fun spring!

We've even had several tornado warnings - the first of which totally freaked the girls out. Lots of tears and end of the world fears. So they all got to sleep in our room and were fine :).

And we didn't end up getting a tornado.

Seth is a big fan of the popper toy! He's quite accomplished at pushing them down, just needs a sister to sit with him and pop them back up.

It's exhausting to play games as a family!

But also awesome! Best Jenga ever!

We had a fun object lesson about Sundays and/or sundaes. We talked about things that are good, just not on sundaes (shampoo, toothpaste, oil, etc.)  Just like some activities are good, just not for Sundays!  Don't worry, I let them have real ice cream sundaes after we made the gross one.

Our car was broken into! Andrew was leaving for work on Monday the 25th and found our minivan with the doors partway open and the windows rolled down. We couldn't see anything missing, but called the police to report the incident. They ended up sending an officer and after investigating, we determined the guilty party was.....Cora. She'd been playing with my keys the night before in the living room and apparently if you hold down the buttons just right, you can lower the windows and open the doors a crack. Yep. Now she's got a record! ;)

Awesome fog, though!

Every day when we pick Eve and Halle up from school, we have to hang up this sign so they know which kids to send to the car. This time, Abigail asked me, "Can I put up the thing so they know we're Halle's owners?" Ummm.....

Where's the Eve???? Lots of grass for picking and burying....

Helping Daddy hammer up the fence pieces that are falling.

Car naps are the best!

Shopping at United :)

Abigail did her first word search! Mostly by herself - very little help from Mommy.

We love having trees! Although Andrew thinks 3 in the front yard is too many and wants to cut one down.

As the weather started to warm up, we started to walk to get the girls from school. Good exercise and lots to see on the way!

Abigail invented a new snack - the pretzel-O. Stack cheerios on a pretzel then pop the whole thing in your mouth!

Walking to get the girls can be exhausting! I let Cora just sleep in the stroller when we got home. In hindsight, I should have buckled her in. She slid out and hit the floor. Quite a way to wake up!

Halle's solar system project for kindergarten! We made all the planets to scale. Just didn't include the whole sun because in this model, it would be 9 feet tall....

Cora's fingernails!

And a lovely hospital stay for me when I hit the top of my head on a cabinet door in our kitchen. Didn't seem that bad, but within a few hours, I was having a really hard time speaking. Andrew wouldn't stop making fun of my slow speech until I agreed to get it looked at. CT scan and MRI didn't show anything, but the doctors insisted I stay overnight for observation. I was not happy. They decided it was just a concussion in just the right place that it impacted my speech. And yes, after a few days, I was able to speak normally again. Such a frustrating (and expensive!) experience. No more doctor visits for me!

We're glad to move on to April - March was fun, but wore us out!
