(My blog titles seem to be getting less and less creative, but I figure that no one care much about those, so it's ok.)
We got up at 4am on the 27th to catch our flight to Salt Lake City - the girls did very well on the plane and Aunt Lisa and grandma were waiting to pick us up. It didn't take Eve and Halle very long to warm up to their Aunt Lisa. Eve hadn't seen her since she was a baby as Lisa just a couple weeks before had returned from a year and a half mission to Taiwan. It sure was nice to see her again! I'm still bummed we didn't get to be there when she came home on December 10th :(. I'll get over it some day...maybe....
Anyway, our girls were totally ready for round two of Christmas as soon as we got back to Provo. Andrew and I were drooping, but our girls have nothing but energy it seems!
And love to touch things....
We were just excited to spend more time with family! Excepting Uncle Eric, Aunt Kayla, and Lexi who refused to join us (I'm mostly kidding....), we got to see all our Smith family on this trip!
These two are sure to be great friends, me thinks. We just need Lexi in there with them!!!!
Eve was sure happy to have time to play with Maren - she was constantly asking where Maren was and when she would be coming over next. Can you tell she's obsessed with her cousins?
What would our time in Provo be without some BYU bowling?!
Great form, Andrew!
Grandma had her hands full with someone's child for the entire time - that's what grandmas are for!
Good thing Aunt Lisa was willing to help :)
Eve insisted on carrying her own ball everywhere (we were so nervous she'd drop it on her toes, but she did great!) and enjoyed the help of her aunts and uncles in bowling. It's a lot trickier than it looks to get that ramp lined up just right....
I tried, unsuccessfully, to get Halle to nap while we were there. Can't blame me for trying!
So Andrew took a turn holding her...and bowling...
Miss independent!
Couldn't love my girls more!
You know, it just occurred to me (I'm a little slow) that one reason I enjoyed the holidays so much, in addition to seeing so many of our families, was that I got to spend so much time with Andrew and the girls! I just can't get enough of them!
And, to be honest, I can't get enough of Provo! I just love it there and, as always, we enjoyed every minute we had! More to come!
