Aunt Jamie and cousins Darci and Jarret were our first visitors in Lubbock and we were excited to have them! So much play time! (And Mickey Mouse Clubhouse watching time....)
Don't worry, we tried out new parks with them after story hour at the library!
I think this is our new favorite park in Lubbock!
Abigail mostly hung out with me, besides her swing time and a couple trips down the slide :)
5 little kids full of energy can sure get crazy!
We only had one full day with them before they left to head to Dallas, so we crammed as much fun in as we could - and what's more fun than ice cream sandwiches???
The girls painted that afternoon - apparently Jarret didn't want to paint princesses...
And just like that, it was time for them to leave - but they didn't leave alone! I hitched a ride back to Dallas with them to pick up a U-haul and drive the rest of stuff we'd left behind back to Lubbock.
So even if it was just for a few minutes while Jamie helped me load the U-haul, they got a chance to see our Garland house.
I was so sad to see our house again. But it didn't really feel like home since Andrew and the girls were waiting for me back in Lubbock. So I loaded up the things we'd left and headed back west to home! It was a long day but I think I made it back a little before 10pm if memory serves me. Up next: a busy week of celebrating Dad/Andrew!
