We didn't originally plan on doing anything for April Fool's Day (and by we, I mean I) because I don't like mean pranks. But we did go eat lunch with Halle at school!
It's just sad because unlike at North Ridge, where Eve and Halle's lunch times were 10 mins apart - making it easy to stay for both, here there's 30 mins between them :(.
Big apple bites!
We're playing nicely together, Mommy! Just kidding! April Fools! We'll be fighting momentarily....
Then I talked to my mom on the phone that afternoon and she suggested I could do some funny things so I did a quick internet search, worked with what we had on hand, and that night for family night, since I had the activity, put six "silly" things around the living room for the girls to find. Shrug.
Some people were more impressed than others.....
A giant spider's on the loose!
A shoe? On the ceiling?
Who put poop on our tv table???
Yummy, yummy poop!?
Look out! It's a rat!
Uh, someone left their finger on the remote control?
And for dessert? Brown-E's!
No one thought that one was funny.....
Meanwhile, Seth said he'd take care of our rodent problems.
Playing some video games while Mom makes the real dessert -
Chicken pot pie!
Again, we don't have much of a sense of humor when it comes to food. Even when the pot pies are pudding and candy...they were still mad about the lack of brownies....
