Last Day at North Ridge

I forgot to take a picture of my bawling!  :(

The girls' last day of school in Lubbock was Friday, December 21st - which also happened to be their class Christmas parties!  A great way to end!

The last supper, I mean breakfast.

I left Andrew and the other girls packing/loading the truck and headed to the school!

The principal, Mr. Morris, came and read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" to the kindergartners before their surprise visit from Santa!  Of course I didn't get pictures of Santa because I was running back and forth between Eve and Halle's parties.

Halle's gift exchange!  Each kid brought fuzzy socks and mittens and Halle ended up with the same pair of socks that she had brought (but from a different girl).

Next up was sugar cookie decorating!  As my contribution to the party, I made and brought the 2 dozen cookies for decorating.  Between that and the cookie plates we did, I probably took on too much.  The cookies were fine, but packing definitely suffered!

Eve's class had snacks/treats and a book exchange.  And her teacher gave her the adorable moose!

Eve couldn't wait to open her book, "The Three Little Super Pigs" :)

Saying goodbye is no fun!  Especially to awesome teachers.  We miss Mrs Van Gilder and Mrs Lackey SOOOO much!

After the parties, the girls could either choose to leave and come home, or stay and watch movies and do Christmas-y stuff.  Of course, they both chose to stay!

And, just to end on a high note, I forgot to pick the girls up after school.  They had early release and we were in the middle of loading the truck.  Not until the office called me did I remember.  2 1/2 years at North Ridge and I'm late on the last day.  Oops!

Goodbye, North Ridge!  You were the best and we will miss you!!!!
