Seth's Baby Blessing

So the past three months kind of kept me distracted and blogging fell to the back burner.  Time to catch up!

After Eve's birthday and baptism on Saturday, December 8th, we had Seth's baby blessing on Sunday the 9th!  Long overdue cause this is one big baby!  But it was so special to do the baptism and blessing on the same weekend with our family in town.

Seth was really enjoying getting to know all the visiting family that weekend - especially his bestie, cousin Blade!  Even though Blade is 6 months older, they were the same size. 17 lbs twins!

Seth got so spoiled for those couple of days with lots of snuggles!  Don't expect that much attention to continue after they all leave!  :)

On the way to Eve's baptism, Blade made sure Seth was ok - "Don't be scared, buddy. It's just snow."

On Sunday, Seth's blessing did not go quite as planned since church was canceled due to all the snow.  So Bishop Ure came over and Seth was blessed at home instead.  Andrew, the bishop, Grandpa Larsen, and Uncle Lance participated.  (We probably should have invited more brothers from the ward to help out since Seth is no small kid!)

Seth's blessing was very nice and he behaved well.

Aunt Kelly's twins!

Plus Eve.

Look!  Now I have twins!

Everyone wanted a picture with these handsome guys!

The whole group!  (Courtesy of the bishop.)

So glad these two could share their special weekend!

A few more minutes of play time before Grandpa, Grandma, Aunt Kelly, Reagan, and Blade have to hit the road.

"What?!  They're leaving???  Why wasn't I informed???"

Now just a ton of adorable pictures of Seth - so many different faces, I couldn't narrow it down!

Poor Blade wasn't feeling well, but still managed to have a fun photo shoot:

"Here, let me help you with your tie."

"I'm pretty sure I know how to get them off."

"Never mind.  Sorry, dude."

We're so grateful to have this guy in our family!
