Our second Sunday in our new ward was also the last day of 3 hour church! This time it was Eve that was sick, so Andrew stayed home with her and Seth. But the rest of us went!
This is how Eve passed the time....

Monday was New Year's Eve and we spent the evening playing games and eating snacks!
Cora tells us, "This is a really fun hot dog!"
Ringing in the new year in style!
We might have only made it until 8pm or so (and some of us were grumpy), but we made lots of noise!
Andrew set up the tent for the girls to have a camp out in the play room (his idea, not mine). Unfortunately, they just fought and wouldn't sleep, so all got sent back to their rooms.
Late that evening, my cousin Emily with her family arrived to crash at our house for the night, on their way back home to Dallas. Their kids got to enjoy the forfeited tent and the adults celebrated the new year with delicious gingerbread cake! We even made it until like 11:30.
The next morning was waffles and video games until it was time for them to leave. It was amazing that even 11 kids didn't feel like a lot with all the space this house offers.
It's a brand new year for this handsome guy! Can't wait to see what it brings!
