The Brunsons left the day after Christmas, but not before some more screen time with Uncle Andrew while their mom and dad packed up.

Later that day, we finally made it to the rec center. We had planned on going on Friday or Saturday with the Brunsons, but illnesses changed our itinerary. Grandma was kind enough to come along to help, and good thing she did! Abigail and Cora would not hold still and tried to walk all over the pool, but the slightest movement in the water would knock them down. They each required an adult to watch them, leaving one adult for Eve and Halle. We all survived, although we didn't stay long :)

That afternoon, my friends Candace and Mandy stopped by with their kids for a visit! Screen time...don't ask. And of course, I didn't take any pictures with my friends. Sigh. Next time! It was so fun to see them.
And on Wednesday, the 27th, we loaded up the car and headed back south. The girls had a few new things to keep them entertained in the car and the ride back was uneventful.
