Here's Our January Stuff

Compared to prior months, January was relatively low-key.

Eve's front teeth got wigglier and wigglier.

Abigail's bed head got crazier and crazier.

One night for Family Night dessert, we finally went to DQ and got our ice cream cones from the summer reading program.  Don't judge.  The girls loved it!

Especially this girl!  "What is this deliciousness??"

Our winter of sickness continued, with both Cora and Abigail ending up in my bed one night (throw up bowls and all).

It's hard to see them both from the first angle.

The weather continued it craziness, with a couple days of warmth, followed by cold, then back to warm.  On the warm days, the girls get to play at the playground when we pick Eve up.

And they build crazy forts on the tramp.

And once I had to take Eve to school (normally Andrew does), so the girls and I loaded up the car and were rewarded with this sunrise!

The girls had a primary activity to meet their new teachers and Abigail, our new sunbeam, freaked out and wouldn't let me leave.  Not even donuts and crown making were enough to keep her happy unless Mom stayed right by her side.  So much for grocery shopping during the "drop off" activity!

Eve's first front tooth was hanging by a thread by the end of the activity!  (Guess who's in senior primary now?)

She Facetimed Grandpa and Grandma Larsen on the way home and Grandpa told her he'd send her a dollar if she pulled it out right then - so she did!

Toothless!

That night, she and Halle created an elaborate set up for the tooth fairy including a bed to nap in (with a blanket!), a table set with a snack and drink, and throne to sit on.  And they both wrote her notes.

She even replied!

Abigail's first day as a Sunbeam!  Andrew had to sit with her in primary and class....

On Tuesday, the 16th, Abigail and I got to watch the announcement of the new First Presidency!  We love President Nelson!  (She was supposed to be at joy school but refuses to go - just cries and cries - when it's at one certain mom's house.  I can't figure it out.)

Cora thought it'd be easier to eat the pretzels this way.

And the girls made "beds" in Cora and Abigail's room.

While Cora slept in the living room, instead.

For Uncle Evan's birthday, Halle drew this picture and we sent this photo to him in Japan!

It was if-y until the last minute if we'd celebrate National Pie Day this year, but we pulled it off!  Chicken pot pie for dinner and Oreo pudding pie for dessert.

For her recycling one Wednesday morning, Eve got to pick a prize and chose this cute little doll.  Cute, until you notice that it's hands and feet have been bitten off.

She loves it, though.

And Abigail loves wearing swim suits.  Every.  Day.

Fort building in the living room!  We need a bigger house....1200 sq ft isn't cutting it....

Daddy attack!

Have I mentioned how much I love that Halle can read now?  Cora always wants to be read to, and with Eve gone at school, Halle's a big life saver!  And always willing to read to Cora.

Shortly following the first one, Eve's other front tooth came out!  This one pulled by the school nurse because Eve was showing her teacher how wiggly it was.

So another tooth fairy party was assembled - with guests, this time!

And another round of notes!

Warm days means play group outside at the park!  Most weeks during the winter are at the Science Spectrum.

Cora's basically had one continuous ear infection this year and occasionally it gets bad enough that she just wants Mommy snuggles.

We've been through several rounds of ear infections with each of the girls so far this year, but as of the writing of this post at the end of February, they are all officially ear infection free!  All four at once!
