To celebrate her turning 18 months old, Cora chose matching jammies with Abigail! (Ok, maybe Mommy chose....)
The following day was Cora's first day in nursery - with Mommy as her teacher so it was a smooth transition! I was called as nursery leader about a month before, just before Abigail's surgery, but had missed a couple weeks with Abigail, so this was my first week too! We had fun!
Although Cora refused to pose nicely for a picture.
Daddy had a little more luck!
Here are some stats on Cora at 18 months:
-26 lbs (85th percentile) and 33 inches (90th percentile)
-Still wakes up at night and wants a sippy cup of milk
-Wears 18 month - 2T clothes and size 5 diapers
-Loves her blankie and still sucks on the "corner" for comfort. It's getting really brown and gross.
-Loves to be read to, so luckily Eve and Halle are willing to take turns
-Has her front 4 teeth on top and bottom, plus 4 molars
-Her favorite foods are bananas, blue berries, scrambled eggs, fruit snacks, and tomato soup
-Loves to play outside with her sisters, mostly on the tramp
-Shares a room with Abigail, which is going....ok....
-Talks up a storm and will say anything you ask her to repeat; also converses independently and is quite good at expressing what she wants/needs
-Still cries when we drop her off anywhere to be babysat (even with her sisters there!), but usually calms down and has fun once we leave
-Has a steady stream of ear infections during the fall/winter
We love this sweet girl!
