All Else September

Besides chemo, fire chief, Seth's birthday, and Eric and Cassidy's sealing - here's everything else we did in September!

Waiting for Dad after church one Sunday, we spotted a squished frog on the sidewalk. Abigail had to go sit by it and take pictures....

Seth started pushing the pink car around and seemed to like walking it better than getting rides in it. Still does!

We started a project of removing all the dead grass/weeds (mostly weeds) from the front easement area to put in rock! (And we just finished this project 9 months later in June.) I sprayed sections with round up to kill everything, then the girls and I dug it out about 2-3 inches and dumped the dirt in the backyard as Andrew tore out all the brick paths back there. I think our section is about 40 feet long, so this was no easy task. Which is probably why it took me so long. That, and I gave up on it during the winter months.

It looks much better now that it's all done, but you'll have to wait until I catch up with the blog to see how it looks now.

Seth decided sometimes it's more fun to play with food than it is to eat it.

And at the doctor's office, not only did he learn how fun the swivel chairs are, he also learned how to turn the lights on and off and how to open and close the door (both while I was holding him in the chairs that just happened to be situated right by the switches and door).

Cora wanted to be a super hero in goggles!

Abigail helping me dig:

And Eve helping me dump dirt.

Daddy worked in the back while we focused on the front. They had a lot of bricks in the yard....

And this is as far as we made it until May/June when Grandma Larsen came and helped us get it finished.

Look at that flexibility! This was part of Eve's swimsuit stage when she put one on every day as soon as she got home from school. (She still wears one most days even now.)

Cora's bath obsession continues - she likes to line up all her assortment of selected toys on the edge before getting in.

More practice walking the pink car around!

Playing with Eve's hair!

And time for cleanings at the dentist! It went slightly better than 6 months prior when Abigail and Cora just screamed through it.

Seth was totally relaxed - he didn't have to get checked!

They all survived and did well enough that they got to keep their prizes this time!

Sometimes it's fun to sit in the car....

Cora and Seth are pretty good at helping Mommy shop while the bigger girls are at school.

More exploring with Eve's hair. And don't think I'm purposely excluding Halle - she doesn't like me doing things with her hair. She just always wants it in a single braid and nothing else.

Helping Daddy pull bricks from the backyard!

Halle lost her front tooth and was so excited!

See, just more of Eve's hair :)

Seth kept getting taller and more and more able to get into things we don't want him to get into.

Some play time at the mall play place!

And Cora wanted a picture with this dog on our way back to the car!

That pretty much sums up our random stuff from September!
