Eve's birthday was on a Sunday this year, so on the Friday before, Cora, Seth, and I joined her at school for lunch! With Chick fil A, at her request.

That afternoon was the oncology party so she got to be a butterfly for her birthday!
After the party, she helped me assemble her ice cream cookie cake!
And she wanted to hunt for her presents - some were harder to find than others!
Like my wrapping jobs? Wrapped in a quilt and stuck in a gift bag.
I think she likes them!
We had Hawaiian haystacks for dinner. Eve loves reading at the table. I wonder where she gets that???
She had seen this stuffed animal at the store a couple of weeks before and had begged for it. She was very disappointed when I didn't get it for her that day, but little did she know it'd be waiting for her on her birthday!
Like Halle's, I seem to have lost Eve's birthday questions, so I had to ask them again. So here are her 9 1/2 answers!
1. What is your favorite color? ….pink….
2. What is your favorite toy? Custard and puppy (little stuffed kitty and dog)
3. What is your favorite fruit? Are strawberries a fruit?
4. What is your favorite TV show? Barbie movies and Miraculous
5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? A chicken quesadilla on the stove or a chicken burrito.
6. What is your favorite outfit? My black and pink athletic shirt and black shorts.
7. What is your favorite game? Scum
8. What is your favorite snack? Like any snack in the world? Or, that I’ve heard of? Hmmm….anything to do with candy.
9. What is your favorite animal? I don’t really have a favorite animal but my top four are cheetah, fox, wolf, and tiger.
10. What is your favorite song? Something by Hilary Weeks
11. What is your favorite book? Wings of Fire
12. Who is your favorite friend to play with? Naomi, Grace, and Jenna
13. What is your favorite sport? Basketball and the one we played at the Brunson’s house. T-ball, baseball, softball, whatever.
14. What is your favorite thing to do outside? Jumping on the tramp when it’s cool outside in the mornings. Not when it’s hot.
15. What is your favorite drink? Oooo…that’s tough. Soda, lemonade, and….water. Oh, and Sunny D. And….egg nog.
16. What is your favorite holiday? Hmmmm…..hmmmm….all of them.
17. What do you like to take to bed with you at night? A plastic water bottle and my book.
18. What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Ohs, peaches and cream oatmeal, and…wait, or jam toast and cinnamon toast crunch.
19. What do you want to be when you grow up? A gymnast
20. What is your favorite thing to do with Mom or Dad? Stay up late and watch a movie or play a game with a dessert.
21. What is something Mom always says? That’s tricky. I can’t think of what you say most often.
22. What is something Dad always says? “You can play a video game maybe the next time.”
23. I'm very proud because: I’m almost a teenager.
24. I'm afraid of: I don’t really know. When somebody jumps out and yells something.
25. Name one thing you do really well. Clean the house
26. What is your favorite time of day? Favorite time of day….hmmmm….playing with my stuffed animals.
27. What makes you feel sad? (Shrugs) When I had a broken thumb I couldn’t jump on the tramp or ride my bike or do cartwheels.
28. What makes you feel happy? When we get to watch movies while eating candy.
29. Where do you want to go on vacation? Grandma Larsen’s house so that…because every time we FaceTime her Leo and Gandolph are cute and I’m not there to hold them and pet them.
30. What is most exciting about being 9? That I can almost babysit and stay home alone for more than 30 minutes.

We love Eve so much are so grateful that's part of our family! She's a great oldest sibling, very responsible, smart, beautiful, and silly! Happy birthday, Eve!
