Who's Who?

Eve and I were looking at pictures from when she was 4 months old tonight (Andrew's at school taking a final, so it's just us girls) and I decided it'd be fun to dress Halle in the same outfit Eve wore for her 4 month pictures for comparison:

I don't know - I can't decide if they look alike.  They just look like cute babies to me!  Haha, but it's no big mystery which is which - if nothing else, the background gives it away :)

4 Months of Halle

I'm not making this up - Halle is now 4 months old!  How did this happen?!  But what a cute 4 month old she is!

She went to the doctor today so here are her official stats:

~15.1 lbs (90% percentile)
~26 1/2 inches (65 - 70% percentile)

Wow!  Someone's been doing a lot of growing!

A few other notes about Halle at 4 months:

~Rolled over for the first time (except for three fluke roll overs at 2 weeks old) on her 4 month birthday
~Eats 5 - 6 ounces every 3 hours, except at night when she usually goes about 9 - 10 hours
~Can sleep through the night when she chooses to (lately she's decided it's just not her thing....)
~Balding seems to have stopped, or at least lessened, and her hair is starting to grow longer - but it still sticks straight up
~Loves to suck on her fingers
~Talks and coos and is mostly very happy!

Oh, and did I mention that she's a great sister to Eve?

Here's Halle trying to show me how she rolled over (I was at work when it happened).  She often gets this far, then just camps out.  I have yet to see the magic....

Happy 4 months, Halle!  We love you lots!

Saturday Play!

.
A couple weekends ago, I took Friday afternoon off work to watch the girls while Andrew attended a seminar at school.  We worked really hard and got all our chores, laundry, and errands done for the weekend, so.....that meant play time on Saturday!

First thing in the morning, Eve and I decorated her window with the Hello Kitty window clings my friend Natasha had given her.  Eve had a blast!

Halle was a good sport about watching...

Later that morning, we amused ourselves with a little play dough and made all kinds of cool shapes!

But the highlight of the day was a train ride for Eve and I!  I take the train to work every day and thought it'd be fun for Eve and I to go for a little ride.

Boy, was I right!

Eager anticipation....

Here it comes!

All aboard!

We just rode a couple of stops down then turned around and came back, but it was a lot of fun!  Eve was excited with how fast and loud the train was and enjoyed looking out the window and at the other passengers.

Halle stayed home with Dad and napped while he did his homework - what a good helper!

Two cute girls at the end of a very full, fun day!

The next Saturday, we watched Eve's friend Beckham from church.  His mom is the girls' babysitter twice a week so Eve gets to see a lot of him!

All the kids wanted to get in the pack n play for some reason (ok, Halle just went cause I made her).  Pretty easy babysitting, if you ask me!

Being silly :)

With how busy things can get, it's nice to remember that sometimes we just have days to play and have fun!
