Matchy, Matchy!

Because they're sisters and I can...

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day fell on a Thursday this year which means I had work and Andrew had school, so it was relatively low key - but still fun!

Andrew and the girls had a good day at home, then Andrew headed to class and the babysitter came over.  I can't remember if I've mentioned this in another post yet, but we have a sister from the ward who comes over Monday and Thursday afternoons from 4 -6pm to watch the girls while Andrew's at class and I'm at work.  She brings her 2 year old son with her and he and Eve have a great time playing!  So when they came on Thursday, he and Eve made sure to exchange valentines!

When I got home from work, the girls and I had a quiet evening of baths, bills, and dishes.  Andrew got home from class a little early so he and I were able to enjoy some peach cobbler together.

Happy first Valentine's Day, Halle!

That morning, the girls woke up to a little surprise on their doors!

Eve was a little more excited about it than Halle...she got chocolate!  (For the record, so did Halle, but it was merely a formality in her case...)

I got some beautiful roses from Andrew!

Andrew got a LOT of chocolate and some hearts on his door too :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello Kitty

Here's some pictures of Eve modeling the Hello Kitty shirt from Grandma Smith!

"I love Hello Kitty!"

"See?  It's Hello Kitty right here on my shirt!"

Hello Kitty, meet Ariel :)

Halle at 3 Months

How embarrassing is this?  I forgot it was Halle's 3 month birthday until Target Portraits called with a 3 month picture discount!  :(  I blame work...

But at least we were reminded in time to get some pictures!

Someone's happy to be 3 months old!

So grown up, and SO CUTE!

This little girl is so fun!  She loves to 'talk', smile, and apparently will even laugh!  Not for me, but Andrew can get her going (usually when I'm not there).  I've heard her little giggles a couple of times and it's so cute!

Her favorite position, besides being held, is sitting up, so thank goodness for a bumbo!  She sleeps like a champ and is regularly sleeping through the night - yay!

Her hair is thinning and getting lighter compared to when she was born, but she still has the little patch that sticks straight up.

Happy 3 months, Halle!  We love you!

Let Them Eat Pie!

Due to time constraints, we had to celebrate National Pie Day a few days late this year....but that's ok, the important thing is to celebrate!

Eve, who knows and loves pie, was eager.  Halle was a little unsure...

I didn't want to chance Andrew and I eating a whole dessert pie by ourselves, so I stuck with chicken pot pie, instead.  It was yummy!

And just for fun, here's some potato head people Eve and I made!
