This and That

We've had a couple of mostly quiet weeks at our house - here's what we've been up to!

Trying to stay warm in thick pj's: 

Apparently our condo's HOA doesn't turn on the large boiler that feeds our baseboard heating until "sometime in October".  So we're freezing every night until they get around to it...we try to keep Eve as bundled as we can, but, like me, she tends to move a lot while she sleeps, so blankets don't really stay on long.  So we're doubling up on pj's for now!  It's all about layers!



We also have to wear jackets around the house during the day.  Even though it's cold, Eve is still willing to help with the dishes!

She wears her little pink sweater (That used to be mine!  Or maybe Kelly's....hard to say) to Church now.  That girl will not keep shoes or socks on her feet though!  Pulls them off as soon as I get them on!



The other day, Eve and I were playing the "where's Eve?!" game.  She'd pull the blanket over her head, I'd say, "where's Eve?!", and she'd pop out!  Then lather, rinse, and repeat!



We had the awesome opportunity last weekend to see Stuart again!  He had a load to drop nearby, and was able to spend all day Sunday with us and stay the night!  How cool!  What a stud with his truck!



Eve shakes her head "no" now, and this particular day, she decided to do it repeatedly while I was trying to feed her.  Result?  Food all over her face.  She didn't mind....



Her hair is getting just long enough that it gets kind of wild after baths - which is the cutest thing EVER!  And it gets little curls at the ends when it's wet.  Sadly, the curls don't last when the hair dries....



This morning before General Conference (it doesn't start until noon for us!), Eve helped me with some laundry -

We made pizza for lunch today!  Our reasons were two-fold: 1) we wanted to use the oven to heat the apartment some (this was the main reason); 2) it sounded good.  And if I'm going to the trouble of making pizza, might as well have leftovers!



And last, but certainly not least, Eve just about ready for bed after sending Daddy off to the Priesthood Session!
