All Else August

Here's the other random stuff we did in the second half of August, post vacation and post school starting. 

Abigail got this cute head wrap from....someone....? People have literally showered her with so much kindness and it's hard for me to remember (especially this much after the fact) who gave her what. We've been so overwhelmed by everyone's thoughtfulness and generosity. 

On Saturday, August 24th, the Amarillo Stake had an activity at the Discovery Center (children's museum). We had some yummy food and then played!

You can normally tell when Cora dresses herself....inside out and backwards! 

In our Come Follow Me study we talked about the verses in the New Testament that say that we're all part of the body of Christ and that we're all different! We can't all be eyes! So we tried drawing what it would look like if our whole body were made of eyes....

On the evening of the 29th, Andrew took the three older girls to a little get together with some friends from work. They were happy to make s'mores!

And we got Wonderland passes from the oncology office since they did an activity there for their patients and families, but we didn't attend since it was on a Sunday. So they gave us the tickets instead! I can't remember why, but Abigail and Cora had lost their privileges, and since the whole family wasn't going to go, we used the last ticket to invite Halle's friend Sophie! That way, everyone that went with Andrew was tall enough to ride everything. They had a blast!

While the bigger girls helped us clear rock slabs out of the front in prepartion to dig up the weeds/dirt and put in rocks! (Almost 9 months later and we're still working on it....)
