Getting ready for Christmas is busy and tiring!
Especially when your sisters insist on making you festive.
And sometimes wear dresses....
But it's not all fun and games around here - sometimes we have to take naps....
And fold laundry.
Or organize battleship so it's a nice pattern.
And sometimes virtual 1st grade suggests that you spell your spelling words in a tray of shaving cream.
And things get a little messy.
Truth be told, it's exhausting!
And then sometimes I let Abigail do her own hair for church and this happens:
We had fun decorating this gingerbread house given to us by a kind family in the ward!
The girls did a pretty good job!
(Apparently not good enough, depending on who you ask.)
We got a little snow mid-month -
And the girls made sure Boyd was bundled accordingly!
An early morning MRI for Abigail, but we got to see the lights at the hospital!
And since she wasn't seeing oncology until later that day, she got to come home with her still accessed, which we never really did much.
She got some treats at Sam's Club for doing a good MRI!
Abigail wrote a nice note to her virtual 1st grade teacher - she had been approved to return to in-person school starting in January. (Woohoo!!!!!!)
Eve helped me deliver Christmas gifts to the ward and at one stop we saw this big sign and had to get a picture!
Apparently the heat wasn't up high enough for Abigail?
And as fun as Christmas is, it's hard to let go of the earlier holidays.

Shopping at the grocery store and they were determined to ride!
A family game of Apples to Apples yielded some interesting results....
She has way too much fun with her growing hair!
