We enjoyed a quiet Thanksgiving at home with just us this year. And by quiet, I mean as quiet as things ever are with our four littles.....
In the morning, Andrew went to play football with friends from church and took Eve and Abigail to play at the park. Halle stayed and watched the parade with me and Cora and helped prep the food. Unfortunately, she also learned "Stick it to the Man" from the School of Rock Broadway musical....
When everyone was back, the girls enjoyed helping me make rolls....
Eve got quite good at rolling them out!
What a feast!
The highlight of the dinner? Tons, and tons, and tons of rolls! They only lasted a couple of days...
This little turkey was especially cute on Thanksgiving and rolled over for the first (and so far only) time!
After we'd recovered from dinner, Andrew took the girls on a walk so I could clean up in peace - it was a Thanksgiving miracle!
And I don't know where they found the energy, but they also played outside together that evening. Note the amazing weather!
We finished off the night with a game of battleship! The girls had never played before, but were instantly hooked!
Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be grateful for!
