Eve was all excitement to start 1st grade this year! Maybe only a little nervous - but nothing like the anxiety about kindergarten.
Starting off the day right with hot chocolate and oatmeal!

We had met Eve's teacher the week prior and Eve was looking forward to being in her class. Starting in 1st grade, they actually have 2 teachers - one for math/science and one for reading/social studies. Mrs. Cole is Eve's main teacher, and does math/science. Every day, they switch with the class across the hall for reading/social studies with Mrs. Rogers. Both teachers are great!
Her sisters are going to miss her all day!
I know, overboard on pictures, but I can't get over how grown up and beautiful she is!

Just like last year, Andrew drops Eve off on his way to school every morning. The rest of us like to watch out the window and wave to them as they leave. Especially Cora, who enjoys sitting on the chest freezer in the bay window and watching them go.
Off to conquer the world! Braces and all!
