Last weekend we had the awesome opportunity to be visited by our friends Candace and Jeremy and clan! They got in late Friday and after a little stay-up-late and chat time, we called it a night :)
Eve was very excited to have a friend! She and Hannah were great helpers all weekend!

Saturday was plenty hot, so we made sure to work in some water play - sprinkler style!

And the kids played more in the sprinklers!
This may come as a shock, but Halle did not enjoy her turn ;)

Lest you think the kids were the only ones having fun, though....
That evening, we went to Chuck E Cheese for dinner! This was our girls' first exposure and....I think they were fans :)
There was a little incident in the play area when Eve tried to climb up in the overhead tunnels to go down the slide. She tends to freak out when she gets up there and can't see us. We quickly found and recovered our screaming child and moved on to less stressful activities.

Eve absolutely LOVED the "cheesy man" and was so excited every time he came around. She talked for days about how she got to give him a high five!
We ended the night with a little air hockey time for the dads - they get to have fun too, after all!
After church on Sunday, we had some time for play before our friends had to head home.

Candace was such a trooper to do all this 6 months pregnant! We can't wait to see them again and get to meet their latest addition in the fall!
