It doesn't get much cuter than that!
We had a jolly Christmas Eve, including a very full evening. Some of the other family made a couple of outings that day, but we were content to stay home and help clean up in preparation for the big day. And it was nice to have a little peace and quiet while people were out of the house. Not that we don't love the craziness!
After a wonderful Nativity program (Eve and I as angels and Andrew as a shepherd with Halle his sheep), it was time to get stockings ready to hang!
My dad put up 30+ hooks this year - more than enough for everyone! (For now...)
The bigger grandkids than wrote a note to Santa and each signed their names....
I believe it said, "To Santa" with all their signatures.
Then time to put out cookies for him, but not before sampling one or two yourself!
So proud of the note and treat for Santa! Right by the fireplace where he'd be sure not to miss it.
So many stockings hung by the fire with care!
