Everything Else in February

Before we get into March, though, let's finish up the rest of February!

Most of the time, Cora and Seth got along. Gotta stick together when you're the only two at home!

Because there was no JIF on the shelves one week, I bought Skippy peanut butter instead and for some reason, Cora was instantly obsessed? She named it Zandar and played with it like a toy. It was awesome.

And we got some more snow! Time to bundle up and go outside!

Ok, not a ton of snow and it melted fast, but still.

Icicles too!

Seth was having drainage from his ears so we went to the pediatrician and got some ear drops to clear it out. No antibiotics this time thanks to the tubes!

We found a Harry Potter wand and vanishing cloak on clearance at Walmart so Eve paid for part of it and we brought them home! She's read the whole series and was excited about her new gear!

Where'd she go?

Playing in the clean laundry is so much better than folding it, unfortunately.

We got a fun package from the Jessie Rees Foundation with a bunch of NEGU cheer paraphernalia!

A sword fight quickly ensued.

I made Cora let me try pig tails in her hair. I'll let you guess how that went and how long they lasted.

For Christmas, Andrew promised me a bench for the front porch (the kids always want to play out there and I just have to stand and watch them - increasingly not fun the more pregnant I got). By February it was all ready, just needed to be stained! Yes, he built that!

Eve, already a pro a giving piggy back rides, decided to expand her clientele. Seth wasn't too willing at first, but loves it now.

Eve also had an appointment with an orthopedic specialist because despite two rounds of leg braces in Lubbock, she's back to extreme toe walking. He wanted x-rays of her legs so that's what we did. With the usual mid-day entourage along!

One afternoon, Cora asked for a piece of bread and then never came back from the kitchen. I found her asleep when I went looking a few minutes later. :)

These two certainly keep me busy all day long - and entertained! Silly crib antics:
