Everything Else in May

Before we get to the fun stuff like Memorial Day and Abigail's birthday, here's what else happened in May.

Seth kept being cute. And a stinker.

His kitchen obsession continued, but at least he was semi-orderly about it?

We still hadn't picked up the mess in the front yard. Soon, people, soon.

Andrew helping Seth ride Abigail's bike.

I can't remember where we went, maybe Hobby Lobby to buy frames?, but Eve was super excited to leave the house! Even with a mask.

The Mother's Day bags for the women in our ward. I can't remember how many I made. Maybe 50-60?

Seth's attempt at a big cup. It did not go well and has not been repeated.

I took Eve and Halle out with me on Monday after Mother's Day to catch a couple of women we'd missed the day before. And one of them had puppies she was trying to find homes for. The girls were in heaven and have been begging for a dog ever since. I have to admit, they were pretty cute!

This is what folding the laundry looks like at our house.

Seth found a hat in one of his drawers and loves it! He likes to wear it all the time.

Another project - we replaced the broken sliding screen door with a magnetic one. The jury's still out.

More playing outside, with Cora in puddle heaven!

Andrew finished the trundle for Cora! It just needs wheels now. It'll go under the bunk bed that is next on the list. Well, maybe not next, but is on the list.

We found our package of water beads and the girls got to sorting them!

Eve learned how to mow the lawn.

And we finally finished cleaning up the yard and piling all the branches Andrew had cut for the city to pick up.

Once the branches and the lawn mowed, we could do sprinklers!

Seth won't go near them.

But he does know his way around a McDonald's orange soda, unfortunately.

And Chick fil A ice cream.

Enjoy it while you can, those trees are getting trimmed this summer!

Cora always asks me to take pictures of her riding Balance (yes, that's his name).

Seth likes having his picture taken too, just not in a group.

The girls like pretending the swing is a magic carpet and they are either Jasmine or Aladdin.

Eve showing off her new swimsuit!

And my friend Natasha sent all the girls necklaces, so here's Eve modeling her swimsuit AND new necklace. Ignore how bad the backyard looks. It's a work in progress.

Abigail maintained her high energy levels!

And....the guest room painting got done! Just the closets were left. It looks so good.

No room in the closets for the food storage, so it gets to decorate the one wall. And books on the other.

We tried something new and made cloud dough! It was lots of fun to play with (softer than play dough but not sticky like slime). It did dry out after a few days and have to be thrown away. Mostly baby lotion and corn starch, if I remember correctly.
