Christmas in Colorado - Part 2

We managed to jam pack the couple of days after Christmas with fun as well!

How could it not be fun with these three cute boys???

Although they'd managed to stay pretty well hidden, Seth found out there were cats in the house and repeatedly tried to invade Eric and Cassidy's room in pursuit of them.

Could they be in the fireplace?

The Brunson cousins had got edible slime in their stockings and they were nice enough to share.

On the 26th, we took all the kids out to Cabellas and boy, was it an adventure! Eve, Halle, and Abigail got cameras from Santa to they took a ton of pictures! One of them had forgotten to charge their battery, though, so I let her (I can't remember who it was) use my phone instead. I have a lot of semi-blurry pictures of the store now.

Every once in a while I borrowed the phone back to snap a picture myself!

Well, apparently it wasn't Eve using my phone....

Look out!

And/or offer your son as a peace offering.

The toy section was a big hit, complete with lots of begging for presents. The day after Christmas.

That night we finally got out to see Christmas lights! At this house, the kids got out with Grandpa and even got a candy cane from the owner!

Grandpa and Grandma's house was pretty cool itself!

And it turned out the Seth was tall enough to push the ice and water dispensers on the fridge. Good thing it had a lock button. (Ours at home doesn't and he's almost tall enough to push them.)

We ate lots of pie over Christmas - and sometimes we skipped the pie and went straight for the whipped cream. Thank you, Grandpa.

We finally saw the illusive cats! Or at least one of them. The girls all loved Leo!

A rousing game of Mexican train is the perfect way to start a new day (now the 27th).

Someone (not me) was nice enough to take the kids to the park! Andrew had had to fly home on the 26th so he could be back at work on the 27th, but the kids and I had stayed a few extra days.

So we could play with cousins!

"I don't need the pack and play, Mom. I'm ready for a bunk bed."

"Helping" clear out the bunk beds so the middle, upstairs room can be turned into Travis's room. Uncle Eric and Aunt Cassidy had recently moved in as Eric was getting ready to leave for an overseas deployment.

And, of course, we got snow. What's Christmas in Colorado with no snow? As long as I don't have to drive in it.

Seth really, really wanted to play with Travis.

Really, really!

Or the fridge. The fridge is good too.

The night before our departure on the 29th. Better melt by morning!

I can't remember any details, so the drive home must have been pretty uneventful - thank goodness since we did it with Andrew!
