Chemo Round 7

Abigail started round 7 on Cora's birthday - June 16th! And she got mermaid goggles from the clinic!

I love that she brings her chapter books to read now.

Don't be fooled - this girl doesn't nap!

Even with little blankie to snuggle.

She loves this horses that are in front of a building next to the hospital and always begs to go see them, so this day we did!

Towards the end of June, Abigail got a little package from Make a Wish in the mail, letting her know that even though travel wishes are on hold for now, she is not forgotten! Those mouse ears!

Week 2 was on June 23rd and went smoothly! This is outside the Texas Tech building the oncology clinic is in.

She got a cool new coloring book at the clinic and Becky brought her a new box of markers to use on it!

Week 3 was on June 30th and Abigail wanted Daddy to take her! It's been since I was out of town with the other kids last summer (I think) that Andrew got to take her. I got lots done at home and was very grateful. Some days chemo is just too much for me. Not most days, but some.

She begged for Daddy to take her again the next week (I think it's the video games) and he obliged! The Brunsons were in town visiting (more to come on that), so I was happy to spend the time with Kelly and Dixie (and the others too...).

A strong finish to round 7 without incident on July 7th!

I can't believe only one round left!
