Halle Donates Her Hair

For a while now, Halle's had the longest hair in our family with no intention of ever getting it significantly cut. Every time I take her in, usually before school starts, I'm only able to convince her to trim a couple of inches.

Then a girl in her class at school chopped her hair short and Halle decided she HAD to also! I told her she could probably donate it because of the length and she was sold - no looking back!

This was on March 14th, so we did it just in time before everything shut down. I was proud of her for choosing to donate her hair, but sad to see those luscious locks go!

She did great at the hair dressers and since she was donating (in Abigail's honor!) the cut was free!

So, so, so short!

Way shorter than either of us had imagined, but that's just how it ended up. It's super cute (more so when I take the time to style it), but honestly, Mom misses the long hair!

Shocked to see it all go!

Now everyone tells her even more that she looks like me, poor girl. Short hair and glasses :). Good thing she's WAY prettier.
