Valentine's Day this year started out with parties at the girls' school! Halle was the only one who had to make a box to hold her valentines - they asked for a monster, so a monster they got!
This time around I got to run between parties with Cora and Seth in tow. Fun, fun!
Valentine's Gingerbread houses - this was a first for me, but Abigail loved it!
And 3rd grade ended with science experiments in the gym, which Cora thought were really cool!
There was no school on Valentine's Day (a Friday this year), so the parties had actually been on the 13th. On the morning of the 14th, I surprised everyone with donuts!
Seth agreed to be a good boy and even to help me cook!
The kids all found little valentines from Dad and Mom on their beds.
Seth just wanted the chocolate!
Showing off their ring pop lips!
That evening was a ward activity. Don't ask - the Spanish branch was in charge of the February activity and we asked them NOT to do it on Valentine's Day, but...needless to say, turn out was very poor. But we had a good time! Yummy Italian food!
And photos with friends and family! This is Sophie Howe, kind of Halle's best friend in Amarillo? The only girl her age in our ward (and they were in the same school class this year) but they have their ups and downs.
Happy Valentine's Day!
