I can't believe how lucky we are to have this guy as the head of our family! He works hard and sacrifices so much for all of us and never complains! So we were super excited to celebrate his Father's Day/birthday week!
Pictures with each of the kids and the little page I had each of them do for him for Father's Day. I stole Seth's from Kelly.
We also made a Father's Day word search! The girls thought it was pretty funny when Daddy found unintentional words like "get bum".
To honor Daddy, Seth helped me make dinner - shepherd's pie, of course.
"Yep, I think it's ready."
Of course some time that afternoon for some video games with the girls.
And better than anything cake to finish off a pretty great day!
We had a false alarm that day - we were told we were starting back up at church, Sacrament Meeting only, that day. But then right before, they called it off and decided to post-pone for a couple more weeks. We'd held a dry run Sacrament Meeting a couple of weeks before on June 7th with just the ward council to see how things would go. But then we had an uptick of cases and it was decided to wait a couple more weeks before starting meetings.
Father's Day was on the 21st then the 25th was Andrew's 38th birthday! For some reason, I hardly had the energy to try this time. His presents were wrapped in towels and pillow cases. Don't judge.
But we still ate yummy food and had Texas sheet cake for dessert. I was so tired I went to bed, though, and Andrew got to enjoy his dessert in peace and quiet. Some birthdays are like that, even in Amarillo!
